This class is geared toward intermediate students with some experience in painting. Over two days, Amelia will teach her mixed media techniques, step by step from collage collection to applying paint over the collaged surface in transparent layers.
Class price is $200 for TVAL Members and $250 for Non-Members. Specialty supplies included.

In this zoom class, Amelia will demo her dot to dot art techniques she created for making endless colorful, abstract designs. This zoom class is for all ages and art abilities.
$25.00 for a seat. Supplies for this class include a surface to create upon, marking tools, a pencil and a sharpie.
With spring break and summer coming up, I wanted to offer a recording of my dot to dot method that you can access whenever and wherever you need it! This tutorial is 16 minutes long and shows how I create my abstract designs using a simple dot to dot method. Students can use a variety of materials and this technique can be adapted for beginners to advanced.

My unique techniques of paper collage narratives in combination with transparent paint is something I created in my studio over 15 years ago and I've never looked back. I love working in this mixed media approach with it's endless possibilities of expression and constant challenge. I teach in person and virtual workshops that teach my process.
