"Trust" 6 x 6
"Trust" is my word for the year. Trust is a really challenging one for me. It leads me into all sorts of scary places like "waiting" and "leaping" and "trying". eeeek. It also means letting go of control. Now I'm in a cold sweat! The discomfort of this word is how I know I need to make it my word for the year. Funny how that works.
Trust also means working on relationships. Not only with my friends and family, but with myself and God. I'm so ready, though. I'm ready to live in trust this year and mimick the characters in this illustration. What I see in them is unwavering trust that comes from confidence in their relationships. And while that is going to take a lot of work, it is good, rewarding work. Lasting work.
This 6" x 6" original artwork is created using paper collage, acrylic and colored pencil on hardboard panel. "Trust" is sealed with an acrylic varnish and comes framed in a simple black frame, wired and ready to display.
