Eagle's Nest in Larimer County, Colorado, is a wonderful mixture of farmland, grassy meadow and imposing rock faces.  The twisted rock that is featured in this painting is the home to many eagles that migrate to Northern Colorado.  You can often see them gliding and swoping around the rock.  The collage material for this piece includes local maps as well as agricutural references and of course, images and text about eagles.
