I've always been fascinated with trees and when I relocated to Colorado, I was struck by the Aspen groves that were sprinkled among swathes of evergreen trees on the hillsides and mountains.  I loved how their vibrant gold shouted "I'm here!"  I came to find out that aspen trees in a grove are all interconnected by a massive root system.  They look so thin and fragile, but below, they are incredibly strong because they grow together.  These aspen groves remind me of the power of community.
