The distinct sense of light in this painting creates a sense of urgency.  One knows the light is fading quickly, time is short.  This is the underlying premise of this portrait of a dying tree at Bobcat Ridge.  Rather than escape the intensity, the painting calls one to lean in and go deeper while there is still time to do so.  24" x 24" Paper collage, acrylic, colored pencil and epoxy resin on cradled panel.  Collage materials and resin wrap around the edges of the panel to create a finished look with no need for framing.  Wired and ready to hang.
