My winding path in this life, with all its valleys, summits, refreshing streams and dry, windy tundra is perfectly suited to me, but I struggle to believe that. Shouldn’t I be further along? Shouldn’t I be kinder? Wiser? Less anxious? Shouldn’t I be sturdier? These internal thoughts often have me pacing and striving. When I follow the little inkling inside that tells me to be still and listen,  I feel God whispering to my fearing, doubting and comparing heart that I am right where I am supposed to be and I can trust in His plan. I can’t mess up with what He has planned before the beginning of the mountains and streams He called into being.
