I associate aspen trees with the concept of community because they are all connected underneath the soil. I especially think of my faith community because our connection with each other is often unseen. It's a heart connection. Not blood, not necessarily interests or even a general feeling of like. It's far deeper than that and it spans the globe. This particular image had me thinking about what it must look like to God when we gather all together on Sundays...not because of how good we are or how perfect we do life, but because of what He has done in us by grace and grace alone.
