For some reason, when I look at this scene, I imagine just finishing an arduous hike that has left me happily tired and dreaming of home. There have been many times during my 40+ years where I imagine myself coming to the end of my life journey, happily tired and seeing Home for the first time. I can imagine it feels like pure joy and freedom. The collage for this piece includes depictions of females with different moods and postures to illustrate the various emotive moments in life--from hesitancy and doubt, to wanting to drawn near to others, to defiant stare downs and confident, joyful movement to the next opportunity.
